This gentle yoga class helps us to enjoy improved physical health and a sense of happiness in daily life. The purpose of Mindful Yoga is to create a community of yogis who support each other along the mindfulness path of meditation in motion.
Benefits are felt at several levels:
Physical
Develop and maintain flexibility and tone
Lubricate and soothe cranky joints
Recover from injury or illness
Mental
Improve energy
Brighten mood
Increase peace of mind
Emotional

Each class begins with a short relaxation focusing on body and breath awareness. Gentle stretching and postures follow. We practice focusing the mind on the body and breath throughout this 75 minute class.
