Minutes of the Board of Director’s Meeting Tucson Community Meditation Center

April 7, 2007 -  following the Annual Meeting

Present:  Blake Ashley, Chuong Tran, Della Estrada, Lhasha Tizer, Frank Tomizuka, Terry Magee, Debra Raeber, Blake Barton

The minutes from the last Board Meeting February 22, 2007 were approved. 

The Board of Directors will keep the officers as they are currently, Blake Ashley, President; Terry Magee, Vice-President; and Debra Raeber, Secretary.

Blake A. mentioned that Cal’s Plumbing will come on this next Tuesday to fix the clogged kitchen sink and install the new pedestal sink in the bathroom. 

Willoughby has said for us to go ahead and get an estimate to repair the leak in the storage shed.  Lhasha has a handyman and will bring him by to look at the leak and get an estimate from him. 

Blake A. formally welcomed Blake B. to the board and all board members joined in to welcome Blake.

Della mentioned that the Sharon Salzberg retreat needs to go onto Sharon’s website.  The board agreed to split the proceeds after costs of the retreat with 60% of the proceeds to go to Sharon and 40% to TCMC.

Bruce Latta made a suggestion that we prepare the back (large) bedroom to use for morning Silent Sits when there is a retreat going on in the main sitting room.
